Tim is a PhD student studying physiology and biophysics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. His thesis research is centered around developing new therapies for the treatment of triple negative breast cancer. Prior to starting his PhD, Tim worked as a biomedical research scientist in both the pharmaceutical industry and academia. His teaching experience includes lecturing first-year medical students in physiology and tutoring undergraduates in biology, chemistry, and English. During his free time, Tim enjoys hiking the great outdoors, cooking delicious meals, and traveling.
