Ashley is a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Chicago, where she is conducting clinical psychopharmacology research in an effort to understand the development and progression of substance use disorders. After receiving her BS in behavioral neuroscience from Lehigh University, she obtained a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. Ashley is a self-proclaimed “science nerd” and is passionate about engaging others in science. She is very excited to be a tutor with Educational Endeavors as she hones the skills necessary to be an effective academic professor. During her free time, Ashley enjoys rock climbing (both indoor and outdoor), hiking, cooking, and hanging out with her dogs, Beanie and Loki.
